Let us take you through are Solar PV and Battery Storage installation process from start to finish, to show you just how easy it is and what you can expect from us at Baskett Electrical.
SITE SURVEY
STEP ONE

ARRANGE A SITE SURVERY
Once you've got in contact, a member of our team will arrange an appointment time to suit you. The site survey will take place in your home or commercial premises, wherever you require Solar panels or Battery storage.

THE SITE SURVEY
We will attend the site survey, prepared with information collected from the enquiry form.
During the survey we will answer any questions you have and we aim to understand your requirements and needs (i.e saving money on your energy bills, reducing your carbon footprint or wanting less reliability on fossil fuels). Your property will also be investigated to ensure suitability and pinpoint a compliant location for your battery storage (if you require one).
From that, you'll be advised the best option/options for you.
There is no obligation in this appointment, and the personalised proposal and quote will be created after the appointment and sent you via email and post. So you can review it in your own time.

STEP TWO

DESIGN
Once a site survey has taken place, and we've received all of the relevant information, we will design a bespoke system for you that best suits your needs and offers you best value
for money. At Baskett Electrical the design process is incredibly important to us. As Solar panels sit on your roof, it's crucial to ensure they're asthetically pleasing. Symmetry and panel sizing is key in creating this. We also highly recommend using black panels for a really sleek finish. Another choice is deciding whether to have your panels on top of your roof tiles or choosing to have an in roof system. An in roof system allows the panels to blend seamlessly into an existing roof.

PROJECTION
Using an industry leading programme we input all your data we've collected from roof size, position of your house, direction of the sun, shading and
your average energy consumption to create a very good estimate of how much Solar energy you would create. In addition to this, we can also estimate how much of your energy generated can be sold back to the grid. This data is comparable against thousands of real pre-existing solar installation on the system.

PROJECTION & PAYBACK
​Not only can we inform you of your Solar energy generation we can also give you an estimate of when you will have paid off the cost of the installation. So you can understand when you will get the full financial benefits and it's usually a lot sooner than you think.

ACCEPTANCE
If you are happy with the proposal we have created for you. Amongst the paperwork we send across there will be a section to sign to accept the quote and agree to our terms and conditions.
Once agreed, we use these documents to complete the application process with your local dno (UK Power Network).
Then we will book a date in to install your Solar PV & Battery Storage.
It's important to note we also do not require a deposit.

STEP THREE

SCAFFOLDING
Before the installation commences we instruct our trusted scaffolding supplier to visit your home or property a few days prior to us arriving. This is just one of the many things we take care of to ensure the process is as easy as possible for you.

INSTALL
Our trusted team of skilled Electricians at Baskett Electrical will complete the installation.
They're very friendly, respectful and knowledgeable so you are in very good hands.

WASTE REMOVAL
Here at Baskett Electrical, not only do we strive to deliver the best installations, by using market leading products. But we also care deeply about the environment, so we offer a free of charge waste removal/ collection service, so we can both be assured the relevant waste materials and products get reused if possible or at least correctly recycled.
